Cecil Jackson Jr, is from the wonderful state of Kentucky.
Cecil grew up listening to country and gospel music - but the day he heard bluegrass music it did something to him!!
He could not get enough of it. Cecil had his 1st bluegrass band at age 16 and has been going strong every since.
He is very reliable and just loves to pick and sing!! Cecil has had the opportunity to play on stage with such greats
Del McCoury and J.D. Crowe. He gets great enjoyment from jam sessions pickin' with a wide variety of musicians.
Don't be surprised if after a show you'll find him out in a campsite pickin' away!!
